S.E. Hall
Before editing, I was first a reader, then a writer. I continue both pursuits avidly today, and in seeking to improve my knowledge of the written word, I have come to a place where I can help other writers.
A lifetime of engagement with the written word in all its forms has honed my instincts as both a writer and an editor. I didn't learn the craft solely by intensive study; in fact, most of what I have to offer is knowledge built upon a lifetime of reading anything and everything I could get my hands on. I've learned to feel out the elements of a story, communicate information effectively, and how to do it without sacrificing a writer's personal voice or style.
I am proficient with fictional prose, and academic papers and essays. I will also edit nonfiction works.
